For a second year in a row, The Kensington Wing has been awarded Gold in Chelsea and Westminster Hospital’s ward accreditation. These annual inspections are unannounced and the accreditation team interviews staff as well as patients to assess the functioning of the ward against several criteria.

‘Gold’ accreditation means that the wing meets all CQC standards relating to high quality and safe care, and that we have been deemed as exceeding expectations.

In the official report, the assessment team highlighted our warm and welcoming team, secure storage of patient notes, Covid safety and dedication to quality improvement. The team was most pleased to hear that we had received exceptional feedback from our patients.
