Ms Patel is a Consultant High-Risk Obstetrician and specialist in Maternal and Fetal Medicine, based at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and currently the service director of the unit. She has national and international experience of uncomplicated and high risk pregnancies, pre-pregnancy counselling and managing medical problems in pregnancy. Ms Patel has done extensive research assessing vaginal deliveries and caesarean sections. She provides evidenced based information to assist women in making their own choices. She recognises that each pregnancy and labour is unique and supports women to have the best and safest birth experience possible.
